Great turnout as Globe employees meet their mentors

Yesterday evening saw the launch of a new employee initiative: the Globe Mentoring Scheme.

Styled as ‘Meet the Mentors’, the event consisted of a short presentation followed by networking with the Globe mentors. The event offered all members of staff the opportunity to find out more about the mentoring scheme and what it can offer them – our mentors faced some interesting and challenging questions!

Sinead Dineen, who launched the scheme, commented: “I’m really excited to be involved in developing this new mentoring initiative. I feel that it is important for people to have access to someone they can approach for advice and support who is away from their immediate team. The Globe Mentoring Scheme offers employees an amazing personalised learning opportunity which they can use to develop their skills and progress their career.”

There was a great turnout and everyone enjoyed the delicious cakes and cookies provided by the Luminary Bakery.

The Globe Mentoring Scheme has been set up in response to employees’ requests for further development opportunities and clearer career progression paths, and the aim is to maximise the development of individuals’ personal and professional skills with the support of a mentor.
